Project Overview

Delivering consistent, high-purity water is critical in precision manufacturing—especially for processes such as ultrasonic cleaning, where even microscopic contaminants can compromise product quality. Asia Supply successfully designed, fabricated, installed, and commissioned a 2000L/hour decentralised Deionized (DI) Water Treatment System to meet a customer’s requirement for ASTM Type I ultrapure water. The system ensures that machine parts are cleaned to the highest standards, free from ionic, organic, and particulate impurities that could impact performance or longevity.

System Design & Technology

To achieve ASTM Type I water quality, the system incorporates a robust, multi-stage treatment process. It begins with pre-treatment to remove suspended solids, chlorine, and other contaminants that may affect downstream components. This is followed by Reverse Osmosis (RO), which significantly reduces dissolved salts and impurities. The final stage utilises Electrodeionization (EDI) technology to polish the water to ultrapure levels, delivering consistent quality without the need for chemical regeneration. The decentralised design enables on-demand production at the point of use, enhancing efficiency and operational flexibility.
